Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer

Lead infrastructure and deployment operations for both our defense (Ocipitator) and healthcare (Aquila) platforms. Build secure, scalable infrastructure that handles real-time processing at 50,000+ messages per second while maintaining DCSA top-5 security standards. Support both classified on-premise deployments and cloud healthcare infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- •Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters for both classified and unclassified environments
- •Implement CI/CD pipelines with security scanning and compliance validation
- •Build infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) for multi-environment deployments
- •Manage secure on-premise infrastructure in government SCIFs and secure facilities
- •Optimize system performance and reliability for 99.99% uptime requirements
- •Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
- •Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning
Required Qualifications
- •Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI strongly preferred)
- •6+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with production systems
- •Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- •Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure
- •Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- •Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- •Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go
Preferred Qualifications
- •Experience deploying and maintaining systems in classified environments
- •Knowledge of FedRAMP, FISMA, and DoD security requirements
- •Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- •Experience with both air-gapped and cloud-connected architectures
- •Previous work with high-throughput streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar)
- •Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
