Focus on production ML systems that power real-time intelligence processing and healthcare data transformation, not research or frontier model development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy ML models for automated data extraction from legacy systems
  • Build NLP pipelines for entity recognition and relationship extraction from unstructured data
  • Create data normalization and standardization models with 80-90% accuracy targets
  • Implement real-time inference pipelines for high-throughput message processing
  • Train and fine-tune models on domain-specific healthcare and defense datasets
  • Design model monitoring and performance tracking systems
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build feature engineering pipelines

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of ML engineering experience deploying production models
  • Strong proficiency in Python with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
  • Experience with NLP and information extraction from unstructured text
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices, model versioning, and deployment (MLflow, Kubeflow)
  • Understanding of feature engineering and data preprocessing at scale
  • Experience optimizing models for low-latency inference
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare text processing (clinical notes, HL7 messages)
  • Knowledge of named entity recognition (NER) and relation extraction
  • Familiarity with active learning and human-in-the-loop ML systems
  • Experience with graph neural networks or knowledge graph construction
  • Previous work in high-security or regulated industries
