Senior Product Manager - Healthcare

Own product strategy and execution for our Aquila healthcare platform serving 160M+ US citizens. Work directly with state health departments, CDC, and Health Information Exchanges to build the data infrastructure for Rural Health Transformation ($50B initiative) and CDC Health Data Trust. Shape the product roadmap for a platform processing data from 18,000+ healthcare systems.
Key Responsibilities
- •Define and execute product roadmap for Aquila platform and its components
- •Engage directly with state health departments, CDC officials, and HIE partners to gather requirements
- •Translate complex healthcare interoperability needs into actionable product features
- •Prioritize features balancing technical feasibility, user needs, and business objectives
- •Work with engineering teams to deliver HIPAA-compliant, FHIR/HL7-compatible solutions
- •Define success metrics and KPIs for data quality, processing throughput, and user satisfaction
- •Create product documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Required Qualifications
- •5+ years of product management experience in healthcare technology
- •Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, OMOP)
- •Experience working with government agencies, state health departments, or public health organizations
- •Strong technical background with ability to understand complex data architectures
- •Proven track record shipping B2B or B2G healthcare products
- •Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- •Bachelor's degree in related field; technical or healthcare background preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- •Experience with CDC data systems or public health informatics
- •Knowledge of Rural Health Transformation or HITECH Act initiatives
- •Understanding of healthcare payment systems and value-based care
- •Previous work at Health Information Exchanges or EMR vendors
- •Master's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, or MBA
- •Experience with international health data standards and deployments
