Senior Product Manager - Healthcare

Own product strategy and execution for our Aquila healthcare platform serving 160M+ US citizens. Work directly with state health departments, CDC, and Health Information Exchanges to build the data infrastructure for Rural Health Transformation ($50B initiative) and CDC Health Data Trust. Shape the product roadmap for a platform processing data from 18,000+ healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product roadmap for Aquila platform and its components
  • Engage directly with state health departments, CDC officials, and HIE partners to gather requirements
  • Translate complex healthcare interoperability needs into actionable product features
  • Prioritize features balancing technical feasibility, user needs, and business objectives
  • Work with engineering teams to deliver HIPAA-compliant, FHIR/HL7-compatible solutions
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for data quality, processing throughput, and user satisfaction
  • Create product documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience in healthcare technology
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, OMOP)
  • Experience working with government agencies, state health departments, or public health organizations
  • Strong technical background with ability to understand complex data architectures
  • Proven track record shipping B2B or B2G healthcare products
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; technical or healthcare background preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CDC data systems or public health informatics
  • Knowledge of Rural Health Transformation or HITECH Act initiatives
  • Understanding of healthcare payment systems and value-based care
  • Previous work at Health Information Exchanges or EMR vendors
  • Master's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, or MBA
  • Experience with international health data standards and deployments
