QA Engineer - Test Automation

Build and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks for mission-critical data processing systems. Ensure quality and reliability of platforms processing 5,000-50,000 messages per second for defense and healthcare customers. Develop testing strategies that validate data accuracy, system performance, and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- •Design and implement automated test frameworks for backend data processing systems
- •Develop test suites for API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end workflows
- •Create performance and load testing scenarios for high-throughput systems
- •Build data validation frameworks ensuring accuracy of data transformations
- •Collaborate with developers to define acceptance criteria and test strategies
- •Implement continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines
- •Document test plans, test cases, and quality metrics
Required Qualifications
- •4+ years of QA engineering experience with focus on test automation
- •Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
- •Experience with test automation frameworks (Pytest, Jest, Selenium, Cypress)
- •Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, Karate)
- •Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing integration (GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- •Experience testing data-intensive applications or ETL pipelines
- •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- •Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, Locust)
- •Knowledge of security testing and OWASP testing methodologies
- •Familiarity with healthcare data validation (HL7, FHIR message testing)
- •Experience in regulated industries (defense, healthcare, finance)
- •Understanding of distributed systems testing and chaos engineering
- •Contributions to test automation open-source projects
